On 10/15/2020, Google would remove the Mouthy Buddha YouTube channel, along with a dozen other channels that they had dismissed as “conspiracy theorists.”

Misinformation and conspiracy theory can certainly be weaponized, but I would argue that censorship is even worse. I would argue that Google did not have the context to understand the importance of the content that it was deleting.
This channel, and this video in particular, was an important vehicle for sending messages in plain sight. In my case, the above video taught me the importance of studying each and every word that I am hearing, in search of alternate/hidden meaning.
Sending messages in public view is so important if you need to protect an asset who is working undercover, in a dangerous situation. It makes lines of communication inordinately difficult to trace.
This method also protects criminals. So, it is a double-edged sword.
