In late 2019, I would notice that my old domain name, acultofone.com, had been re-registered by somebody else. It appeared as if they had left a message for me:

ANALYSIS⌗

This message was striking for several reasons. For one, “As above, so below” was similar to a song that I had recently been listening to. Just one more example of Australian music being used to send a message.

For two, the importance of perception was a new concept that The Raven had recently implanted into me.

While not positive proof, I found this new site unnerving. And compelling.

Since its release, little has changed. The site sits idle, with a basic blog containing lorem ipsum added in May 2020.

It’s as if they are waiting for the right time for me to pick up and write again.

Or perhaps they’re waiting for The Reverend to pick up where I left off.
