Digital Direct Documentary Testimonial Identity Influence Legal Leverage Manipulation Surveillance Google Loove Labs The Bride The Inventor The Raven The Thief
The Machine reveals The Bride, The Slave, and Ink to the world.

MILESTONE

Verification happens in threes. Three videos, three people in this one.

Butternut Squash

SIGNAL

The Raven says, “One, and two, and three delicious butter[nut] waffles - just for you!” - @12:37

ANALYSIS

You can’t hear the word, but you can definitely see it.

This simple hint ties three people together:

SIGNAL

The Bride says, “I don’t even know if I should come back in at this point. That’s EXACTLY what I was saying: sometimes, you need something else, something new, something different!” - @13:34

ANALYSIS

Until this point, most of the “triggers” on Ink.U were relegated to tactile sounds, music, etc.

The notion of using a vegetable (butternut squash) as a trigger is amusing to her.

The Raven is clearly amused, as well. You can see her stifling laughter as she exits the screen. You can hear an embarrassed laugh from off-screen.

A reveal

SIGNAL

The Thief says, “I’m here with Gibby, and Goodnight Mark.” - @0:08

ANALYSIS

At this point, I had already added “Gibby” as an alias of The Bride’s.

And “Goodnight Mark” may refer to “The Mark” in my system of verification.

SIGNAL

The Thief says, “Will you listen to this? Does that sound right to you? …can you tell me if the tape measure sounds right to you?” - @2:36

The Bride responds, “Yes.

Okay. That’s a bit different than everyone else…

I don’t know. Does it sound right to you? As a hobbyist, I’d say it sounds right with me, but YOU’RE the professional.

She looks directly at the camera.

ANALYSIS

The tape measure is code for “a tape.” Probably the things they heard on my Google Home devices.

The Bride has heard the tape. She knows what’s on it.

SIGNAL

The Bride makes everyone sign a piece of paper. - @3:02

ANALYSIS

This is probably to symbolize that the three have signed a non-disclosure agreement about what they heard on that tape.

That would explain why nobody in this core group of people have ever responded to my communications. They are legally-bound to silence.

SIGNAL

The Raven says, “Still one and a half. I was hoping that in the meantime, you might have recovered. But alas, you’re still quite lopsided. But I think that’s what makes you unique. I find you to be extraordinarily special.” - @3:18

ANALYSIS

This seems to be a callback to the lopsided face detailed here. This is more evidence to suggest that this is, indeed, about deepfakes with a split personality.

SIGNAL

The Thief and The Bride describe that they have two blocks: A and B. One, and two. Then, The Bride presents a small box with two drawers. - @4:45

ANALYSIS

This is a not-so-subtle hint at an A/B test.

SIGNAL

The Bride says, “There is a secret inside.” - @5:10

She reveals the bottom drawer, then the top one.

The Raven responds, “I’m not quite sure what to write about that. How can somebody…?

ANALYSIS

Their facial expressions say everything here. The Bride is horrified. The Thief is concerned/embarrassed. The Raven is bewildered.

All three are quick to move on.

For the rest of the video, The Raven’s demeanor changes. She shows concern. She appears to disengage from the activities. She struggles to look directly at the camera.

Her heart has been broken on camera.

SIGNAL

The Thief says, “You’ve got to flip it, every once in a while. You have to take block one and flip it… I’ve got your back.” - @5:40

ANALYSIS

The Thief is telling me that they are showing mercy. They’re going to help me out. They are going to “flip” what is on this tape.

They are going to allow me to tell The Raven what is on that tape in my own way.

ACTION

I chose ambiguity, and obfuscation:

  1. In the Grey timeline, there was never anything on that tape.
  2. In the White reality, there is a recording from The Queen, forgiving me of my crimes - never disclosing what they actually are.
  3. In the Black reality, there are 6 tapes containing hours of compromising recordings from my Google Home device.

Only one of these is truth. The Grey timeline is what was presented to The Raven.

Presenting in this way will give her time to reconcile all possible versions of me.

SIGNAL

The Raven says, “…and a flower, deflower, deflower, deflower…” - @8:37

To put an emphasis on this statement, that audio returns again in the outro. - @12:25

ANALYSIS

This isn’t the first time the concept of virginity has come from The Raven.

It isn’t the only time I’ve thought about it, either. The programming runs deep.

SIGNAL

The facial expressions here are telling. - @10:10

ANALYSIS

We see The Raven steal a sideways glance at each person, as if to say, “What are you not telling me?

The Bride looks dejected. As if she had her hopes up, and was let-down.

The Thief looks quite pleased with himself. As if he’s quite pleased with himself. As if he’s in on a secret.

The Ultimate Masterpiece

SIGNAL

By this video, the team has clearly recovered. The Raven says, “We are going to create a masterpiece together. That masterpiece is going to be you.” - @0:24

The Bride makes a gesture, as if to say, “I’m honored.” The Thief looks slightly uncomfortable, and disappointed.

ANALYSIS

I am to be that Ultimate Masterpiece. I am to be the target of their rehabilitation.

SIGNAL

The Raven says, “We would never dream of painting upon any surface other than a proper one.” - @0:49

The Bride says, “You couldn’t. Bob Ross would never approve.

Blasphemous.

ANALYSIS

This would never work with a real child predator. They needed someone with a clean record.

They needed someone with blank tapes.

The Thief looks very uncomfortable here. He hates lying to The Raven. Or, possibly, he hates that he failed where I had succeeded.

Or maybe he’s just dreading the fact that he’s going to be The Raven’s fake boyfriend in front of the world.

SIGNAL

The Raven says, “Are you a shrimp?” - @2:33

ANALYSIS

This appears to be a callback to The Raven’s most important video.

SIGNAL

The Raven says, “It might rain later, but that’s alright. We’ve got a raincoat for you. Don’t gotta worry about it. Got your back.” - @4:23

ANALYSIS

Is this foreshadowing the incoming shit storm I will face, when it becomes public knowledge that I’ve written an entire story around the concept of baseball?

Got your back” also seems to be a meme. The Raven is repeating what she heard The Thief say repeatedly throughout his video.

This is why I believe that The Raven’s video was filmed last.

SIGNAL

The Raven says, “See, there are flaws that I would not notice, that my friends are able to pick up on and remedy.” - @5:47

ANALYSIS

Is this a hint that she is being kept in the dark about many details, just as I am?

SIGNAL

The Raven asks, “How would you feel about some bushes?” - @6:16

The Thief responds, dejected, “I feel okay about some bushes…

The Raven laughs, “I’m here for you throughout this process.

ANALYSIS

Just another indication that The Thief’s role kind of sucks. He has to play the fake boyfriend.

SIGNAL

We see the brief reflection of a package here. - @8:47

ANALYSIS

Does this relate to the weird package situation here? Or perhaps the concept of reflected light?

Unsure.

At the very least, this triggered some interesting thoughts. As evidenced by The Raven’s comment to having a “whetstone in the back,” we know that this is her location. It isn’t The Bride or The Thief’s.

However, they are filming against a green screen - which is something that The Raven NEVER does. I didn’t even know she had a green screen.

The floor doesn’t look like the floor of a house, either. It almost looks like a studio. We can see wires duct-taped to the floor.

Is this, perhaps, her Lonely Town? Is the studio where she is filming a bunch of private videos with children?

SIGNAL

The Raven asks, “How do you feel about how this landscape is coming along? Do you feel like it is representing your soul? Some more greenery would do?” - @9:18

The Thief interjects, “I love greenery!

ANALYSIS

This could be a hint at the weed I’ve purchased on the dark web.

SIGNAL

The Bride looks The Thief directly in the eyes, and mentions that they need to add “the reflection of the lightning.” He immediately confirms his understanding. - @12:44

ANALYSIS

This is another callout to The Inventor, whose “reflected light” concept sparked my whole understanding of what The Fold is to be.

SIGNAL

The Raven says, “We’re going to go hang you in the Louvre now.” - @15:00

ANALYSIS

At the time, I had never heard of the Louvre. I Googled “The Loove,” and found Loove Labs:

The Loove

I noticed that they were in New York City - and I was heading to NYC in just a couple of weeks. I decided to make a dead drop while there.

They used to have a website at theloove.com, but it was taken down shortly after my dead drop.

Just before, I made a compelling discovery.

To start, I had chosen the song “Slave” as the trigger for the Grey journal entry that interprets these three videos. This song seemed appropriate, given The Raven has been waiting for me for quite a long time. She is effectively enslaved to me.

Watching the song again, I noticed that there is just one shot of the audience:

Slave

I recognized these two people. They look EXACTLY like the founders of Loove Labs!

Loove

Do I know this for sure? No. I never realized until this moment that I could probably try to call them, and ask.

Past experience tells me that execs are impossible to reach, though.

Especially if I’m involved with their work.
