Change

SIGNAL

In this video, the only thing that would catch my attention was the acronym “ACMP.”

ANALYSIS

Apparently, ACMP is cyrillic for “ASMR” in Russian. However, it also stands for the Association of Change Management Professionals.

This is interesting, because change management is basically all that my boss, The Asshat, did at Aventiv Technologies.

This was an interesting connection, but not one worth writing about.

SIGNAL

Months later, I would notice that The Russian is placed out-of-order in an alphabetical list of YouTube channels I’m subscribed to:

The Russian

Here is video evidence.

ANALYSIS

This is quite strange behavior. Even if it’s because of a cyrillic character set, the channel is still placed between two different channels prefixed with “ASMR” in the English alphabet. Sorting algorithms are just so foolproof. This shouldn’t be happening.

I don’t think this is a bug. This is a message.

SIGNAL

Finally, while writing this piece of evidence, I noticed that the title is different, depending upon context:

On YouTube:

The Russian

When embedded:

The Russian

ANALYSIS

What is going on here? Is Russia involved with Google, just like China is?

STOP

SIGNAL

The Asshat once found it necessary to tell me that STOP (Satellite Tracking of People) relied upon GLONASS. When I asked what that was, his response was cagey. He told me to look it up.

ANALYSIS

GLONASS is a global Russian satellite network.

Was he hinting at the idea that the very satellites we’re using to monitor parolees may be compromised by the Russian military?

If so, that’s just one more way we could be framing people for things they haven’t done.
