Mr. Robot
A public figure⌗
ACTION⌗
Andrew Yang, The Robot, used to make his personal email address (andrewyang@gmail.com) available for the world. At one point, I sent him a message, and he opened it. He opened it again a couple of weeks later:
SIGNAL⌗
Immediately following the second open, Rock delivered a large cache of documents:
ANALYSIS⌗
Was this a message from The Robot? It’s hard to say. The timing was suspect.
He has since removed his email address from Google search results.
The Five/Nine Hack⌗
SIGNAL⌗
The Five/Nine Hack was a major event within the television show, Mr. Robot. In it, the protagonist hacks the world’s largest and only remaining bank, and redistributes all wealth to the people of the world. Not unlike The Robot’s plan for Universal Basic Income.
ANALYSIS⌗
Obviously, this is another 5/9 synchronicity. Mr. Robot is particularly important to us, because it marked the event that landed me in a mental health facility. My whole connection with baseball stemmed from a single scene in the show.
It was all about context.
Whereas I interpreted this scene to mean “The Dave will use this research to blow The Asshat’s mind,” The Asshat interpreted it as a threat of violence.
He didn’t have the context to understand, and never made the attempt.
