Man-in-the-Middle

Demonstrative Digital Direct Testimonial Man-in-the-middle Manipulation Cloudflare Deloitte The Contrarian The Ouroboros The Sponge
Multiple confidants report that my website’s content is being replaced on-the-fly.

Putting words in my mouth

SIGNAL

Over the span of a few days, multiple people brought a man named “Joe Spar” to my attention:

Joe Spar Joe Spar Joe Spar

ANALYSIS

This is a particularly strange claim, because nowhere does a “Joe Spar” appear on my website. The audio file mentioned on The Fodder’s page is from a man named “Fred Coia.”

There is, however, a Joe Spar that works for Deloitte, an enormous cybersecurity consultancy with many government and military contracts:

Joe Spar

Whether or not The Contrarian and The Sponge are being truthful, their claims planted an important seed in my mind.

If the government wanted to do so, they could weaponize a content-delivery network, such as Cloudflare, to replace website content on-the-fly. Essentially, they could make it look as if I wrote words that I’ve never written, and published content that I’ve never seen. They could frame me for anything.

This is the definition of a man-in-the-middle attack.

If The Contrarian and The Sponge actually did hear an audio file that mentioned the name “Joe Spar,” then this is just one more example of my work being tampered with.

SIGNAL

On 11/21/2020, The Ouroboros made the claim that his confidant page was returning a “404 Not Found” message:

The Ouroboros

ANALYSIS

Whether or not this is true is, again, irrelevant. The fact of the matter is that it would be possible for a company like Cloudflare to alter my site’s content, effectively creating an augmented and unique reality for each visiting user.

They could make it so that each user would see this error message upon viewing their own confidant page.
