A few days prior to this one, I came upon this Reddit post.

The letter therein struck me as interesting and relevant:

I thought this would make a good piece of misinformation to tie with my story.

ACTION⌗

I modified the image slightly, to obscure it from reverse image lookups, then I sent a copy to The Filmmaker, along with a request to publish it after 9/5/2020. He did as requested.

Several days after 9/5/2020, I watched the above video from The Narcissist, which he had published on 9/5/2020 precisely.

In it, The Narcissist says, “I’ve received… letters… correcting me, informing me that I’m wrong, that the right word in German is ‘ershenweg…'” - @2:48

ANALYSIS⌗

This is extremely weird.

If you look at the original letter I had found, this word is spelled as “eschenweg.” Apparently, this is German for “grey path” - which is interesting, given that the grey path was triggered the moment 9/5/2020 failed to go as predicted. If you google “eschenweg,” you do get some results:

Eschenweg appears to be a location.

However, if you Google the alternate spelling of the word, “erschenweg,” you get the aforementioned letter:

Why does a search for “erschenweg” return this letter? That word appears NOWHERE in the original Reddit post. Image recognition is unlikely to be the reason, because of the poor handwriting. It looks like as many as six different people wrote this letter.

My guess? Google “hard-linked” this search result to that image. They are simply making the point that, yes, they can and do manipulate search results.

Narcissists are involved.
