In this video, The Inventor mentions, “Raven’s dead husband.” - @20:15

ANALYSIS⌗

She does this more than once. While at first, her statement seems crass and heartless, the little “laughing skeleton” GIF is telling: this is a story.

Perhaps there is no husband. Perhaps his “death” is just part of a story. Perhaps she means that he is “dead to them.”

Whatever the case, The Inventor isn’t a monster. This was a clue. Something about “the dead husband” is important.
