Carmen Sandiego
MILESTONE⌗
This day marks the one-year anniversary of the date that I invented 16 Lonely Towns.
Oranges⌗
SIGNAL⌗
The Raven describes a story about Cutie and Halo oranges. Where once they were owned by the same company, they split into two after a dispute related to a disagreement about when oranges should be harvested. - @17:55
ANALYSIS⌗
I can find no evidence to support her claims. From all of the research I found, the split was related to a disagreement about the cost of advertising. The second company thought that the first was spending too much money promoting Cuties.
This may be a message hidden in plain sight. Perhaps The Raven is attempting to articulate the following:
“Cuties (the wildly criticized movie sexualizing children) used to be owned by Halos (The company that owns the Halo franchise: Microsoft). Perhaps there was some dispute over the appropriate date to “harvest” children.”
This would make sense, given the things this research is connected to.
Lonely Towns⌗
SIGNAL⌗
The Raven points out Morocco and Brooks Range on a globe. - @26:38
ANALYSIS⌗
It was already interesting that The Raven would be searching a globe to find the viewer’s location. This hints at the fact that she is “looking for somebody.” At the same time, Lonely Towns are locations - and she is searching for locations. There’s a theme here.
The fact that she chose “Morocco” is notable, given its relation to The Girl Next Door.
The fact that she chose “Brooks Range” is even more compelling, given that this contains my last name.
