Pineapple Ring

SIGNAL

This video caught my attention because of the words “Sound Sprout Blooms.”

ANALYSIS

With all of the connections to leaves, cherry blossom trees, and planting seeds - I suspected that “blooms” might mean that something meaningful has sprouted. That perhaps this project was finally moving forward.

SIGNAL

The video is sponsored by Helix.

ANALYSIS

I’ve talked about Helix ad nauseam. Videos sponsored by Helix almost always have something for me.

SIGNAL

The Thief mentions the words “pineapple ring” and “overnight” in sort of a suspicious manner.

ANALYSIS

I did nothing with this, at first.

Spongebob

SIGNAL

Not 24 hours later, The Bride published a “Spongebob Squarepants” roleplay.

ANALYSIS

This immediately connected with me, for three reasons:

  1. Spongebob lives in a pineapple.
  2. The Thief had just mentioned pineapples in his latest video.
  3. My mother, who had just passed away the day before The Thief’s video, has an alias of “Spongebob” on ink.university.

This sparked something in me. Perhaps my mother was not dead, and she would be returning tomorrow? Perhaps I should purchase a “pineapple ring” to present her with, showing that I knew all along that her death was being faked?

ACTION

I searched for a pineapple ring on Amazon, but found nothing worth buying. Instead, I purchased a pineapple ring-holder (overnight, of course).

However, I was trying to get it before a particular time the next day - and it was late. So, I ended up creating two versions of reality:

  1. One Ring
  2. Two Rings

ANALYSIS

Of course, nothing happened. Nothing ever happens.

Despite the fact that I keep doing what I’m supposed to.

Or maybe I’m insane?

I truly can’t verify.
