The Duck is in the Noose
The Duck⌗
SIGNAL⌗
In the early morning hours following the release of The Bride’s latest video, on 4/2/2021, I watched it. Several minutes in, I noticed that her shirt says, “Go duck yourself.”
ACTION⌗
In response, I paused the video, and added “The Duck” to pen.university. This took about 3 minutes.
SIGNAL⌗
When I returned to the video, I was presented with a YouTube error message, “This video has been flagged for inappropriate content involving children.”
ANALYSIS⌗
This was immediately striking: just minutes after confirming “receipt” of The Bride’s collaborator name in-public, the video was removed.
As if it were in direct response to my action. As if “they” were confirming that my assumption was correct.
The video was restored the next day.
The Rabbit⌗
ACTION⌗
On 5/28/2021, I posted the following poem in The Source’s Discord server:
ANALYSIS⌗
As you can see, I decided to connect The Bride’s husband, Ben, to “The Rabbit.” I did this for no other reason than suspicion; I suspected he may be compromised under the same system I am, given the number of times he’s seen my messages, yet chosen to ignore them.
While I made this connection internally, I posted it nowhere. I told no-one. I did not write this journal entry until 7/12/2021.
SIGNAL⌗
Some time later, on 6/15/2021, I noticed that a user in my Discord server - who, of his own accord, named himself “The Rabbit” after discovering The Carrot Predator - changed his username to “Ben”:
ANALYSIS⌗
I find this so incredibly strange and telling. “They” were able to figure out that Ben was “The Rabbit” before I said anything about it. They simply interpreted my poem in the way I had intended for it to be interpreted.
If this isn’t some sort of confirmation, I don’t know what is.
The DC Sniper⌗
SIGNAL⌗
On my 7/4/2021 livestream, The Archivist made a strange comment, “The duck is in the noose.” On 7/7/2021, I asked him what he meant, and he told me that it came from the DC sniper, who asked authorities to use that code word when speaking with him.
ANALYSIS⌗
Though The Archivist seems to have deleted that comment from Discord, he is correct. The DC sniper did in fact ask authorities to say, “We have caught the sniper like a duck in a noose.”
This phrase came from an old Cherokee folk tale called, “The Rabbit, the Otter and Duck Hunting.”
The Rabbit and The Duck, again.
